However, the celebrations took a violent turn in Mhow, located in Madhya Pradesh’s Indore district. During one such rally near Jama Masjid, an individual allegedly threw a firecracker inside the mosque, triggering clashes. Indore Collector Ashish Singh confirmed that at least 13 people have been arrested, with the National Security Act (NSA) invoked against some of the accused. He assured that the situation is now under control. "One side claims that firecrackers were set off outside a mosque, while the other alleges incidents of stone-throwing.
